Supporting children and their parents is at the core of the work that I do. You don't have to figure this out alone. At the heart of my approach is a deep belief: kids do well when they can—and so do parents.
Children with ADHD often experience challenges with emotional regulation, impulse control, transitions, and sustained attention. These challenges can lead to frequent conflict, emotional overwhelm, and a sense that “nothing works.”
What looks like defiance or oppositional behaviour is often a sign of lagging skills, nervous system dysregulation, or chronic stress. Therapy focuses on understanding these patterns and supporting both children and parents in responding more effectively.
I offer support in two ways: in-clinic sessions or in-home sessions, so you have options when deciding how I can best support your little one. My play-based approach means that children feel safe and have fun along the way. And while I promise not to use puppets and toys during our parent sessions, I'll make sure those are equally light and un-intimidating because I know how vulnerable it can be to ask for this kind of help.
