Nadia (Registered Social Worker)

If you're reading this page, I already know two important things about you:

You love your kiddo so much.
And you’re not sure how to help them.

I’m so glad you’re here. Raising a human is no easy task, and I’m grateful you’re considering letting me support you during this challenging time.

About Me

My name is Nadia. I’m a parent and a Registered Social Worker (since 2017), and I’ve been working with children and their families for over 15 years. I know how vulnerable it can feel to reach out for help.

When I’m not being a therapist, I’m rewatching The Office, finding joy in quiet moments, spending time with my daughter and partner, and ordering in more often than I should.

My work is warm, grounded, and intentionally disarming—for both kids and parents. I use play therapy with children, and I also meet regularly with parents because real change happens when the whole system is supported.

In our parent sessions, we explore what your unique child is showing us through their behaviour and emotions. I offer insights, tools, and strategies that are respectful, practical, and tailored to your family.

At the heart of my approach is a deep belief: kids do well when they can—and so do parents. I don’t believe in perfect parenting (I’m certainly not a perfect parent myself). What I do believe in is parenting with love,  intention and confidence—and I strive to help other parents move toward that goal too.

It is truly a privilege to be invited into a family’s circle and to be given the opportunity to help make things feel just a little bit lighter. I don’t take that honour for granted. My promise to you is that I will meet you with care, honesty, and deep respect for how hard you’re already working to help your child. I offer a free meet and greet to help you decide if I am the best fit for your family. I look forward to connecting!
